Meet Rebecca Kameika
Rebecca’s family is from Spain and she loves trying to recreate the Spanish pastries from her childhood. Baking has always been her passion - although life took her to an MBA program and several years at Fortune 500 companies. After moving to Alaska, baking came back into her life and Costa Brava was born.
About the Name
Costa Brava is the name of the very northeastern coast of Spain which meets the southern coast of France. Meaning "wild coast" or "rough coast" it perfectly describes the rocky glacial coast of Southeast Alaska where we are located. Tie geography in with Spanish heritage, and the many French Pastries we like to make, this name couldn’t be more perfect!
